Franz Flicker

Franz Flicker (born July 15, 1939 in Altmanns ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and chamber secretary. Flicker was a member of the National Council from 1982 to 1994 .

Life

After attending compulsory school, Flicker completed an agricultural secondary school and then the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences , which he received in 1963 with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. completed. He also completed a study internship in the USA. After running a farm for several years, Flicker worked as a secretary and later as a deputy director of the Lower Austrian Farmers' Union. From 1989 Flicker worked as a secretary for the district chamber of farmers in Gmünd .

Flicker was politically active as chairman of the Lower Austrian education and homeland organization for the Waldviertel and was a member of the district farmers' council in Litschau and Weitra. In addition, Flicker held the office of district party chairman of the ÖVP Gmünd and was chairman of the main district farmers' council in Gmünd. Between June 14, 1982 and November 6, 1994 Flicker represented the ÖVP in the National Council.
