Franz Greßl

Franz Greßl (born January 20, 1936 in Ritzenberg, municipality of St. Leonhard am Forst ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1983 to 1993 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After completing elementary and secondary school, Greßl attended the agricultural college in Pyhra and in 1966 became self-employed as a farmer. In addition, there was active as a farmer federation chairman and ÖVP district party leader Mank and was in the 1970 local council elected by Ritzberg. Between 1975 and 1980 he took on the role of executive councilor, in 1980 he was promoted to deputy mayor, and from 1985 to 1995 he was again councilor. Greßl, who was awarded the professional title of Ökonomierat, was also involved as chairman of the Mank District Chamber of Farmers from 1978 to 1997 and represented the ÖVP between November 4, 1983 and June 7, 1993 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
