Franz Hartmann (painter)
Franz Hartmann (born March 1, 1907 in Berlin ; † June 25, 1989 there ) was a German art and enamel painter.
From 1926 to 1933 Hartmann studied at the United State Schools for Free and Applied Arts in Berlin. He learned painting from Ernst Böhm and enamel technology from Gustav Hilbert . After graduating, he traveled to Rome and Florence .
From 1971 to 1974 he was a professor at the State University of Fine Arts , Department V in Berlin.
