Franz Hochstein

Franz Hochstein (* 1928 in Lütringhausen ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and honorary canon in the Archdiocese of Paderborn .

Life

After completing his studies, he was ordained a priest in Paderborn in 1967. Initially working in Paderborn-Elsen (October 1967 to January 1968), he was appointed cathedral vicar in Paderborn in 1970 (until 2008). From 1972 to 1993 he was also diocesan chaplain and president of the Catholic women's community in Germany in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. From 1993 to 1999 he was diocesan secretary of the Bonifatiuswerk in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. Furthermore, from 1979 to 2005 he was the Paderborn representative for public broadcasting . Numerous divine services and speeches were broadcast under his responsibility. Pope Paul VI appointed him papal honorary chaplain, Pope John Paul II papal honorary prelate. In Offizialat of the diocese, he acts as since 2002 Offizial notary .
