Franz Kronberger

Franz Kronberger is a former German basketball official and trainer.

career

Kronberger initially played football, but had to give up this sporting activity due to an injury sustained in the war. From then on he played basketball and in 1946 founded the basketball department of FC Bayern Munich .

With the German national team , he took part in the 1951 European Championship in Paris .

In 1954 and 1955 he was a German basketball champion as a player with FC Bayern. As a coach, he led FCB to win the DBB Cup in 1968 .
