Franz Maciejewski

Franz Maciejewski (* 1946 ) is a German sociologist , cultural scientist and author.

Life

Maciejewski studied sociology and philosophy at the Universities of Münster and Frankfurt am Main. Degree: Sociologist (1973). Scientific stations were the University of Gießen, the Psychoanalytical Seminar Zurich, the Center de Recherche Tsiganes Paris , the Documentation and Cultural Center of German Sinti and Roma Heidelberg and the University of Heidelberg, where he headed the research project Remembrance Rituals of the Holocaust within the framework of the special research area Ritual Dynamics . Maciejewski was in 2002 at the University of Frankfurt am Main Dr. phil. PhD. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in the fields of cultural and memory history of the modern age, ethnopsychoanalysis and Freud's biography as well as Holocaust and anti-Semitism research and lives as a freelance author in Heidelberg.
