Franz Reimer

Franz Reimer (* 1971 in Bonn ) is a German legal scholar and has been a professor of public law and legal theory at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen since 2007 .

Career

After studying law in Bonn, Oxford and Freiburg, Reimer did his doctorate with Dietrich Murswiek on constitutional principles. A type of norm in the Basic Law. He acquired the Venia legendi in 2007 as a scientific assistant to Andreas Voßkuhle , where he wrote his habilitation thesis on quality assurance. I wrote the basics of a service administration law. In the 2007/2008 winter semester he was offered a position at the University of Gießen, where he was also the Dean of Studies for the Law Faculty from the 2010/2011 winter semester until 2013.

At the Rudolf von Jhering Institute for Basic Legal Research at JLU Giessen, he has been managing director since 2012, and he is also a member of the board of the Erwin Stein Foundation.
