Franz Reiner

Franz Reiner (born July 22, 1967 in Houston , Texas ) is an American manager. Since June 2019 he has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Mobility AG (formerly Daimler Financial Services ). Previously, he was member of the Board of Management for the Europe Region of Daimler Mobility AG (formerly Daimler Financial Services) and Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Bank AG. Reiner has been a member of the VfB Stuttgart Supervisory Board since October 2016.

Life

education and study

Reiner studied industrial engineering at the technical college in Esslingen am Neckar and graduated in 1992 with a diploma.

Entry into Daimler Financial Services AG

Since joining the company in 1992, he has held various positions at Mercedes-Benz Bank - for example, as Head of Sales and Marketing and member of the Board of Management for private and corporate customer business. From 2005 to 2007 Reiner was President and CEO of DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Canada LLC, before he took over the CEO position of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC in Farmington Hills in 2007.

In 2009, Reiner was appointed to the Board of Management of Daimler Mobility AG (formerly Daimler Financial Services) - initially responsible for the North and South America region, then in 2011 for Europe. As a member of the European board, he was responsible for a region with 22 stores and was also CEO of Mercedes-Benz Bank AG.

Franz Reiner has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Mobility AG (formerly Daimler Financial Services) since June 2019 .

Personal

Reiner is married, has three daughters and a dog.
