Franz Schönbauer

Franz Schönbauer (born September 1, 1886 - † July 15, 1932 ) was an Austrian physician .

Life

Schönbauer studied medicine at the University of Vienna . He initially worked as an imperial and royal district doctor in Lilienfeld , became first primary in the Lilienfeld Hospital founded in 1903, deputy director of the General Hospital of the City of Vienna in 1909 and director of the Wilhelmine Hospital in Vienna , which opened in 1891 . During the time of his management, the Wilhelminenspital was rebuilt after the First World War, a lupus sanatorium was built, pavilions were built and the barracks hospital was incorporated into the Wilhelminenspital.
