Anthony Lo Bello

Anthony Lo Bello (* 1947 ) is an American mathematician and mathematician .

Lo Bello studied at Kenyon College (AB) and at Yale University , where he did his doctorate with Shizuo Kakutani ( Ergodic transformations of Lebesgue spaces ). He teaches as a professor of mathematics at Allegheny College in Meadville , Pennsylvania .

His research area is the history of mathematics. In the field of Graeco-Arabica, he produced an edition of al-Nayrizi's commentary on Euclid and worked on the Latin translation by Gerhard von Cremona .
