The Franziskaner is a Viennese coffee specialty and as such an integral part of the Viennese coffee house culture . The Franziskaner is a light blend with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.

He was named because of the similar color of the monk's robe of the Franciscan order . It is a coffee drink that consists of a slightly stretched mocha , hot milk, whipped cream and, if necessary, chocolate sprinkles . The ratio of coffee to milk to whipped cream is 1: 1: 1. In Vienna, it is usually served in a large bowl.
