Franciscan Educational Organization

The Franziskanisches Bildungswerk e. V. ( FBW ) is a joint foundation of the Thuringian Franciscan Province of St. Elisabeth and the Mission Center of the Franciscans . Today the German Franciscan Province is the sponsor .

The main task of the Franciscan Educational Organization is extracurricular and political youth education, as well as adult and family education . The work of the educational organization is based on Franciscan spirituality. It is based in Großkrotzenburg near Hanau , where the Franziskanergymnasium Kreuzburg, a Catholic private school, is also located. There is close cooperation between the two institutions, including the concept of the “ school family ”.
