Franciscan Sisters

The Franciscan Sisters of Cleves are a small Catholic community of sisters. The motherhouse is in Kleve. Founded in 1925 by the Capuchin Father Suitbert, today ( 2015 ) they still have two sisters in the Kleve diocese of Münster . They were mainly active in home nursing.

They are to be distinguished from the congregation of the Francis Sisters of Krefeld, which is also active in nursing . Both communities have today the canonical status of a secular institute .
