The Jüterbog French cemetery is located in Jüterbog in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg on the corner of Birkenweg and Neuheimer Weg. The cemetery is a listed building.

The cemetery is kept simple. Except for two memorial stones, there is nothing on the lawn. The triangular area between Birkenweg and Neuheimer Weg is surrounded by a hedge of ornamental plants. The cemetery was laid out after the Franco-Prussian War in 1870/1871 . French prisoners of war who died during the construction of the old camp, among other things, were buried here.

There is a memorial stone for French prisoners of war in the cemetery. This memorial stone was originally located in a cemetery near the old camp and was erected there in 1871. The memorial stone was erected by the French state. There are Latin inscriptions on two sides of the memorial stone , but these are only partially legible. On the front it says: “Militibus Gallis Morte… Juterboghum Saxoniae Reductis Decessu Pro Terrena… Gloria Coelestern Non Immerito Sperantis Patria… posuit. AD MDCCCLXXI ". The translation: The French warriors who were brought to Jüterbog from Saxony to death and who did not deserve to deserve heavenly honor through death instead of earthly gain, was erected by the Fatherland (this memorial stone) in the Lord's year 1871. On the back is the following incomplete inscription: "Scio quod Redemptor meus vivit Et de Terra ...". It is said in full: "Scio quod Redemptor meus vivit Et de Terra surrectus sum" (German: I know that my Redeemer lives, and from the earth I will rise. )

The second memorial stone in the cemetery commemorates the battle of Dennewitz . This battle took place on September 6, 1813 as part of the Wars of Liberation . On a base is a pyramid top with an inscription: "Resting place of the warriors who died in the battle of Dennewitz in the hospitals in Jüterbog". There are reliefs of oak leaves on the sides. On the reverse the incomplete inscription: "Eretzt ... 3" (probably: 1883).
