Fred Anderson (historian)

Fred Anderson (* 1949 ) is an American historian. He deals with American colonial history.

Anderson graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in 1971 and received his PhD from Harvard University in 1981 with Bernard Bailyn . He taught at Harvard (as a lecturer from 1981 to 1983) and is a professor at the University of Colorado Boulder .

Anderson was a Guggenheim Fellow .
