Fred Carganico

Alfred "Fred" Carganico (born March 21, 1886 in Weenzen ; † September 19, 1966 in Moritzburg ) was a German tax officer, writer and caricaturist.

Life

Fred Carganico was the son of forest clerk Alfred Carganico and brother of General Victor Carganico . He was the director of the Wroclaw Tax Office and a hunter, illustrator and caricaturist.

After studying in Berlin and Freiburg, he became a court trainee in 1908, a government councilor in 1920 and later a senior government councilor. In 1924 he published the booklet Jäger und Deer in rhyme and picture with Heger-Verlag Breslau . He also published cartoons.

After the Second World War he lived in Moritzburg near Dresden.

In 2014 his drawings were rediscovered. In Fasanenschlösschen the castle Moritzburg 80 of his drawings were exhibited.
