Fred Loose
Fred Loose is a German world record holder in blood plasma donation from Stahnsdorf .
Loose has been involved as a blood plasma donor since 1969 after a doctor's assistant made him aware of the importance of blood plasma donation. Since then, the agricultural engineer has had blood plasma drawn up to 38 times a year free of charge. On July 31, 2006, he became the world record holder in blood plasma donation with his thousandth donation.
For several years he has also been a member of the Potsdam / Zauch-Belzig eV district of the German Red Cross .
For his social commitment he was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Brandenburg on June 14, 2006 by the Brandenburg Prime Minister Matthias Platzeck .
