Manfred Markl
Manfred Markl , called Fred Markl, is a former German skeleton rider .
Manfred Markl was a successful German skeleton athlete in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 1988 and 1989 he won the German championship and was third in 1990 and 1993. Internationally he was used in the Skeleton World Cup . A sixth place in January 1992 in St. Moritz was his best result. Between 1989 and 1993 he took part in the skeleton world championships five times in a row . He achieved his best placement in 1989 in Sankt Moritz when he was fifth.
