Frederick Maxson

Frederick Maxson (* 1862 , † 1934 ) was an American organist and composer.

The student of Alexandre Guilmant worked in Philadelphia as an organist at the First Baptist Church and the Central Congregational Church . In 1909 he gave the concert for the inauguration of Grace Lutheran Church in Lancaster / Pennsylvania on an organ from the Hook and Hastings company that had been converted by Robert Hope-Jones . Maxson published a number of compositions for the organ.
