Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay

Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay (more commonly: Freddie Blay) is a lawyer and politician in Ghana . Since 2001 he has been acting first deputy to the Speaker of Parliament Ebenezer Sekyi-Hughes . Between 1997 and 2001 he was the second deputy speaker of the parliament.

He was trained as a lawyer at the University of Ghana and is a licensed barrister in Ghana . As a party member of the Convention People's Party , Blay moved into parliament as a direct candidate for the Ellembelle constituency.

He is married and has three children. He belongs to the Nzema people .
