Free Radical Biology and Medicine , or Free Radic for short . Biol. Med. , Is a scientific journal published by Elsevier-Verlag. The journal was founded in 1985 under the name Journal of Free Radicals in Biology & Medicine and in 1987 changed it to the current journal name. It is the official publication organ of the Society for Free Radical Biology and Medicine and the Society for Free Radical Research-Europe and appears with 24 issues a year.
