Free TV Switzerland

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Free TV Switzerland was a free newspaper from the Swiss television broadcaster U1 TV that appeared daily or weekly as required .

Free TV Switzerland was available free of charge every week in newspaper boxes in Zurich . According to the editors, the circulation was between 50,000 and 100,000 copies. According to its own statements, the newspaper was aiming for 13 pages of editorial content on 3 pages of advertisements.

The main focus of the newspaper was on the TV program. Other content included pages with free legal advice and a serial novel , as well as the columns by clairvoyant Mike Shiva and PR consultant Klaus J. Stöhlker .

Beginning

Free TV Switzerland first appeared in Zurich in October 2005, at that time in a daily edition. The start of the newspaper had to be postponed by a day because the Zurich police complained about too much bare skin on the back page. Those in charge of Free TV Switzerland promised not to seek any more confrontation in the future. The 2006 World Cup, with its need for “advance” comprehensive information, prompted the editorial staff to switch from the daily to the weekly publication type.
