Freiberg Art Prize

The Freiberger City Council decided on 10 October 1996, the Statute for the award of the Freiberg Arts Sponsorship . The city of Freiberg, HypoVereinsbank AG (Freiberg branch) and Fielmann AG (Freiberg branch) jointly award the prize with the aim of significantly promoting art and culture in Freiberg and the Free State of Saxony . The art promotion award can be given annually to a natural person or a group, whereby artistic works of all genres are assessed. The Freiberg Art Promotion Prize consists of a cash prize of 3,750 euros and a certificate.
