description

In English gardening, " Folly " stands for an unusual ornamental building with an extravagant design. The sculpture consists of the following materials: steel, wood, colored concrete, pre-patinated copper sheet and LEDs. “The design provides for a tower shape that is 21 meters high and can be seen from almost every point in the park and thus represents a distinctive landmark. With lighting in the top of the tower, the work of art also sets an accent at night. The surface of the object consists of pre-patinated copper sheets in different shades, which form a tile-like grid and give the unusually designed structure unity. While the filigree silhouette of the 'Freiham Folly' evokes associations of a maypole or an oriental minaret , the tip with its sensual reminds one arched balcony on the onion crown of a Bavarian church tower.
