The Free Religious State Congregation Pfalz K.d.ö.R. is a free religious religious community based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and around 1500 members. It is about the federal free Religious communities in Germany a member of the umbrella organization of free philosophical communities and in the International Humanist and Ethical Union . It was founded in 1947 as an amalgamation of individual communities in the Palatinate . It is the successor organization of the Federation of Free Religious Communities of the Palatinate eV, which was banned in 1933 like the individual communities in the Palatinate.

It is financed through contributions and donations. For members from Rhineland-Palatinate , who are subject to wage or income tax, the tax office (tax card abbreviation "fg") collects the contribution in the same way as church tax .

Siegward Dittmann has been president since 1992 , and Marlene-Charlotte Siegel has been state spokesperson since 2017.

In addition to numerous events, the state community also offers the following services:

  • Youth consecration for members and youth celebrations for young non-members
  • Youth camps and seminars (in cooperation with other communities)

Events mainly take place in the congregation's Johannes-Ronge-Haus in Ludwigshafen, which also houses the office and the Johannes-Ronge-Saal, as well as a meeting room, youth room and several apartments.
