Friends of Rade
The Freundeskreis Rade is a right-wing extremist organization in Radevormwald , which is closely linked to the right-wing extremist party pro NRW and consists mostly of minors and young adults. They are assigned to the Autonomous Nationalists . Members of the group also stayed in contact with the “Citizens' Movement pro NRW”, for which they sat on the city council as knowledgeable citizens or appeared as candidates for the 2009 local elections. Radevormwald became known nationwide through the right-wing extremist crimes committed by the Freundeskreis Rade.
In April 2012, a large-scale raid was carried out on the Freundeskreis Rade for the formation of a criminal organization , during which several members' homes were searched. Three members of the organization were for a short time in custody taken. Since then, the group has not been noticed by right-wing extremist crimes in Radevormwald. The trial against the organization began before the 1st major criminal chamber at the Cologne Regional Court on September 6, 2013, and the public was excluded until the verdict was announced. The main defendant was sentenced to two years and six months' imprisonment. Co-defendants were sentenced to suspended prison sentences or fines, for example for dangerous physical harm or membership in a criminal organization. In the grounds of the judgment, the presiding judge Grassmann described the acts as inhuman.
