Fridolin Keidel

Fridolin Keidel (born December 27, 1882 in Augsburg , † June 26, 1960 ) was an aviation pioneer.

Life

From 1906 he worked as an airship fitter and machinist at the Motorluftschiff-Studiengesellschaft mbH. From September 1909 he worked as a driver for the Wright brothers , who offered him free pilot training. After he had obtained the license to fly no. 5 on a Wright two-decker on April 27, 1910 at Johannisthal Airfield , he was taken on as a flight instructor by Wright . Among his students were Robert Thelen , Melli Beese and Käthe Paulus .
