The Fried. Filler Maschinenfabrik was founded in 1874 by engineer Friedrich Filler. Their location was in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel , Pinneberger Weg 11/12. The Eimsbütteler Maschinenfabrik later emerged from it.

history

The factory of the also known as the metal goods factory Fr. Filler or as Friedr. Filler & Hinsch Maschinenfabrik (Pinneberger Weg 10/12) was designed by the architect Ed. Hoppmann (1849–1902).

Product range

The machine factory provided, among other things, mobile and stationary wind motors , steam and other pumps, steam engines and boilers, locomotives , gas and petroleum motors , magnet apparatus , earth drilling tools, elevators , cranes, lifts , conveyor systems, transmissions , malt germination and malt polishers - and grist mill systems, fruit drying machines, up to complete factory equipment of various industries.

Hand winches for meteorological kites were also made. During the SMS Planet research trip in 1906/07, a cable winch for kite ascents from Fried. Filler in use.
