Peace of Lisbon

The Peace of Lisbon ended the Restoration War between Spain and Portugal on February 13, 1668 and was between the Portuguese King Alfonso VI. and the Spanish King Charles II . Spain had to renounce all claims to the Portuguese throne and recognize Portugal as an independent country. In return, Portugal ceded Ceuta and Isla Perejil to Spain.
