Friedrich Vinzenz Reiterer
Friedrich Vinzenz Reiterer (born August 4, 1947 in Styria ) is an Austrian writer on the Old Testament .
Life
After graduating in 1971 Mag. Phil., 1972 Mag. Theol. , 1975 Dr. theol. and in 1980 habilitation , since 1981 he headed the department for Old Testament introductory studies at the University of Salzburg . In 1982/83 he taught as a visiting professor in Freiburg im Breisgau . Since 1986 he has been a professor at the University of Salzburg. Since 1993 he has taught as a visiting professor at the Universities of Vilnius and Kaunas . From March 2004 to February 2006 he was department head. He has been retired since October 1, 2012.
