Friedrich zu Hohenlohe-Öhringen

Friedrich Ludwig Eugen Carl Adalbert Emil August zu Hohenlohe-Öhringen (born August 12, 1812 in Öhringen ; † December 10, 1892 at Slawentzitz Castle ) was a German nobleman and politician .

Life

He was the son of Prince August von Hohenlohe-Oehringen (1784-1853) and Luise von Württemberg (1789-1851).

He renounced his rights as the firstborn son in 1842 and married Mathilde, née Freiin von Breuning (* November 10, 1821, † January 12, 1896) in 1844, who was given the name Freifrau von Brauneck since 1843 by the King of Württemberg.

In September 1843 Prince Friedrich and his wife Mathilde Freifrau von Brauneck moved into the renovated princess building of Ingelfingen Castle. The extensive renovation of the east wing of the palace began, but was ended in 1847 when the prince's residence was relocated to Stuttgart and the provisional court was dissolved.
