Fresh medal
The Frisch Medal (English: Frisch Medal ) is a science award in economics . The award is dedicated to the Norwegian economist Ragnar Frisch , who, as a co-founder of the Econometric Society, is considered one of the fathers of econometrics . The prize, which is awarded biennially by the Econometric Society, honors exceptional contributions to econometrics that have appeared in the publication organ of the Society Econometrica in the five years preceding the award . The prize was awarded for the first time in 1978, one year after Frisch's death.
