Oliver Bott

Oliver Johannes Bott (born March 24, 1968 in Bückeburg ) is professor for medical informatics at the University of Hanover .

Life and awards

His main areas of work at the University of Hanover are medical information systems, methodology (analysis and design with modeling and simulation techniques, architecture concepts, especially eHealth / telemedicine / EGA) and computer-aided teaching and learning systems in medicine.

Oliver Bott is a member of various professional associations such as the Professional Association of Medical Computer Scientists and the Society for Computer Science .

In 2010 he received the Lower Saxony Science Prize in the category “Scientists at universities”.
