Fritz Aanes

Fritz Aanes (born July 20, 1978 in Narvik ) is a former Norwegian wrestler in the Greco-Roman style.

He took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and reached fourth place in the class up to 85 kg. However, he was tested positive for nandrolone during the doping control and banned for two years. After his suspension, he was fourth at the 2003 World Championships in the class up to 84 kg. In 2004 he took part in his second Olympic Games in Athens , where he finished 15th.
