The Communauté de communes Causses Aigoual Cévennes is a French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Gard department in the Occitania region . It was founded on July 16, 2012 and comprises 15 municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative center is in the municipality of Val-d'Aigoual .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Valleraugue and Notre-Dame-de-la-Rouvière became part of the Commune nouvelle Val-d'Aigoual . This reduced the number of member communities to 15 and the administrative seat was transferred to the Commune nouvelle.
