The Communauté de communes Mont Lozère is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Lozère and Gard in the region Occitania . It was founded on November 30, 2016 and comprises 21 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Mont Lozère et Goulet .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes du Goulet-Mont Lozère ,
  • Community de communes de Villefort .

In addition, seven parishes from other associations joined, and six other parishes formed a Commune nouvelle .
