The Communauté de communes des Hautes Terres de l'Aubrac is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It was founded on November 30, 2016 and comprises 17 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Peyre en Aubrac .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes des Hautes Terres and
  • Communauté de communes de l'Aubrac Lozérien .

At the same time, all municipalities of the Communauté de communes de la Terre de Peyre formed the Commune nouvelle Peyre en Aubrac , which also joined the local association.
