The Karasiówka is a right tributary of the Sanna in the Lublin and Subcarpathian Voivodeships in Poland . It belongs to the river basin of the Vistula .

The name of the water is derived from the crucian carp , a freshwater fish.

geography

The Karasiówka rises in the village of Rzeczyca Księża around 10 km south of Kraśnik in the Lublin Voivodeship . From there it initially flows in a south-westerly direction, enters the Subcarpathian Voivodeship , turns to the west-northwest and runs roughly parallel to the Sanna until, after a 32.5 km run, it joins the Lublin Voivodeship on the right .
