Friedrich Josef Bäuml (born January 27, 1945 in Göggingen ; † November 28, 2005 in Augsburg ) was a German football player and official. Bäuml was in his active time in the squad of the football league club BC Augsburg .

Life

From 1990 onwards, he was involved in the Bayern division FC Augsburg as head of the football department and manager. Together with coach Armin Veh , he led the club to the Regionalliga Süd in 1994 . In 2002 Bäuml separated from FC Augsburg and went to Bonner SC as a manager . Most recently, he worked for the Swabian regional top division club TSV Neusäß.

Bäuml died of heart failure at the age of 60. He had a total of five children, two of them with his wife Simone Bäuml.
