Fritz Denks
Fritz Denks (born October 26, 1911 in Mülheim an der Ruhr , † October 31, 2006 ) was a German SPD politician .
education and profession
Fritz Denks attended elementary school and vocational school and learned the trade of paver. After a serious war injury, he completed an administration course. He worked as an administrative clerk at the city of Mülheim and the Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse Mülheim an der Ruhr.
politics
Fritz Denks was a member of the SPD from 1931 and a member of the union from 1927. He was a member of the board of the SPD sub-district of Mülheim / Ruhr. From November 1952 to September 1970, Denks was a member of the city council of Mülheim an der Ruhr. In Mülheim an der Ruhr, he was mayor from October 1964 to November 1969.
From July 25, 1966 to May 27, 1975, Fritz Denks was a directly elected member of the 6th and 7th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 070 Mülheim I.
