Fritz Hesse (politician, 1893)

Fritz Hesse (born January 10, 1893 in Altena ; † August 29, 1963 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Hesse learned the trade of wire drawer. From 1912 he was a member of the SPD and the German Metalworkers' Association . In World War I served as a soldier Hesse. During the Weimar Republic he was chairman of the works council . Between 1930 and 1933, Hesse worked as an employee of the local consumer cooperative . Between 1920 and 1933 he was a city councilor in Altena.

In July 1933, Hesse was dismissed as an employee of the consumer cooperative for political reasons. During the National Socialist era he worked in a wire drawing and spring spring factory.

In 1945 he took over the management of the Altena consumer cooperative. From 1946 he belonged again as a member of the SPD to the city council of Altena and the district council of the Altena district . Between 1946 and 1963, Hesse was district administrator . In 1946 he was a member of the Westphalia Provincial Council and then from 1953 to 1961 of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Assembly ; between 1957 and 1961 he was chairman of the board.

In the first electoral period from 1947 to 1950, Hesse was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia as a directly elected member of an Altena constituency. After an interruption, he was again a member of the state parliament from 1954 in the third and fourth electoral terms.
