Fritz Lauscher

Fritz Lauscher (born February 22, 1908 in Vienna ; † November 30, 1996 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( KPÖ ) and boiler maker. Lauscher was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1954 to 1959 .

Lauscher worked as a boiler maker and from 1929 was a party instructor of the Communist Party. He spent a total of ten years in political prison and was imprisoned in Dachau concentration camp between 1938 and 1945 . After the Second World War, Lauscher was employed by the KPÖ from 1945 and 1968. Lauscher was also deputy board member of the ÖGB Niederösterreich from 1948 to 1953 and from 1949 to 1964 a member of the state executive and vice-president of the Chamber of Labor in Lower Austria . Lauscher represented the KPÖ between November 10, 1954 and June 4, 1959 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. He was buried at the Mauer cemetery.
