Fritz Limburg

Fritz Limburg was a German gymnast who trained for the 1848 Ruhla gymnastics club.

In 1934 he won the bronze medal with the German national team in the team all- around competition at the World Gymnastics Championships in Budapest. In the individual all- around he was 43rd. He also took part in the gymnastics Reichsheer-Deutsche Turnerschaft in 1935 for the German Gymnastics Association .

At the end of March / beginning of April 1938 he did gymnastics as a member of the German team on an advertising trip in Austria. On this trip, 36 top German gymnasts were gathered in two German teams.

In 1950 and 1951 he was GDR champion on the pommel horse.
