Fritz Märklin

Fritz Eugen Märklin (* 1896 ; † 1961 ) was a German entrepreneur . He was the son of Eugen Märklin , nephew of Karl Märklin and grandson of the founder of today's Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH , Theodor Friedrich Wilhelm Märklin .

In 1923 Fritz Märklin joined Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH a. After his father Eugen Märklin left the company in 1935, Fritz Märklin took over the management of the company.

Under his leadership, the company developed the H0 gauge , the most widely used today, and concentrated its core business on it.
