Frondorf (desert)
Frondorf is a desert near Eisenbach (Taunus) .

The deserted Frondorf was at an altitude of 307 m above sea level in the Eisenbach district of the municipality of Selters (Taunus) near today's Hof zu Hausen am Hauser Bach. The field names Frondorfer Berg and Frondorfer Born still remind of the lost place
history
Frondorf was first mentioned in a document in 1189. Other forms of the name were Vrondorp (1189) and Fronendorf. A noble family from Frondorf named themselves after the place . Frondorf was still inhabited in 1380/81, but in 1534 and certainly also in 1454 it had fallen in desolation.
