Clinton Ladine

Clinton James Ladine (born February 21, 1971 ) is a former American basketball player who also has French citizenship.

Life

Ladine played at the college level for the team at Bethany Bible College, California . The 1.91-meter-long construction player then played in Germany for the ETB Essen , in the summer break of 1997 he moved to the second division BG 74 Göttingen . He stayed in Göttingen until 1999 and then strengthened the second division competitor TK Hannover in 1999/2000 , which, however, withdrew from the game during the season. From 2000 to 2002 Ladine was under contract with the Bundesliga club Oldenburg . In the 2000/01 season he made 33 Bundesliga appearances for Lower Saxony, in which he achieved an average of 10.9 points and 3.6 rebounds and prepared 2.7 basket successes for his side people. In 2001/02 Ladine recorded 6.2 points per encounter in 27 appearances. The maximum number of points in his 60 Bundesliga games was 21, which he scored in April 2001 against Ulm.

In the summer of 2002, Ladine signed with the Bundesliga club EnBW Ludwigsburg , but injured his knee in preparation and therefore did not appear for the team. In the 2003/04 season he played for the French club JSF Nanterre .

After the end of his playing days (he resigned from competitive sports because of knee problems) Ladine lived in San Francisco . There he worked in the school system, and was also involved in the management of a facility for those in need.
