Football league system in Sweden
The Swedish football league system since the reorganization includes 2,006 leagues on 10 levels. The Swedish Football Association is responsible for the first five levels and the respective regional associations for the leagues below. The top division is called Allsvenskan ; below that is the superettan . Both leagues are each played in a single group.
The leagues are generally played in the calendar year.
