Wagon barracks
The wagon barracks was located in the 3rd district of Vienna on Ungargasse .
The “Poststadel”, which existed between 1711 and 1819, later became the “Military catering magazine”.
After the revolution of 1848 a barracks was established here. Until the completion of the Meidlinger training barracks in 1905, the “ kk Fuhrwesen-Korps ” of the kuk army was quartered here. After 1905, the area was built with civilian houses in the course of the barracks transaction and the Neulinggasse was created.
