Fujimura-kun Mates ( Japanese 藤 村 く ん メ イ ツ , Fujimura-kun Meitsu ) is a gag manga by Seiichi Shiki.

Fujimura, who is decried as a thug, has been skipping school for about a year. One day a girl appears at his place who introduces herself as class representative Eriko Usami and forces him to tell her why he is skipping school. She threatens to paint the nipples of his cat, who has taken her hostage, black with permanent marker. He then reveals to her that on his first day at high school he saved a girl from intrusive school hooligans whom he beat up in self-defense. A rumor arose in the school that he was a thug, so he couldn't make friends and stopped attending school. Eriko then suggests to be his friend, whereupon he goes back to school.

In his class he first meets the two class representatives of his class: a boy who always wears a samurai helmet and is therefore called “Helmet” by Fujimura, and a half-Japanese woman named Claudia Chiiko Inui, who introduces herself to him with the words “I dare to be bold claim! Big breasts are love !!! ”( あ え て 言 お う！ 巨乳 は 愛 で あ る と !!! , Aete iō! Kyonyū wa ai de aru to !!! ) and speaks a rather strange and sometimes meaningless Japanese. During the break, Eriko clearly shows him with a homemade Bentō that she loves him.

The student council chairwoman Shizuru Urabe convenes a meeting of the student council, to which the individual class representatives belong, to discuss how to deal with Fujimura. Eriko takes the opportunity to propose that he help him find a girlfriend. The deputy chairwoman Akira Himuro also proposes to include him in the student council in order to improve his image. So it happens that loudspeakers announce to the whole school that Fujimura is now a candidate for the student council and that he needs a girlfriend.

Fujimura later runs into Shizuru several times, who always got lost. The two do not know who the other is. Due to a misunderstanding, she assumes that he likes her and slowly falls in love with him. Akira then registered her as a possible candidate as Fujimura's girlfriend. On the way home, Fujimura meets the school idol Subaru Yumizuka, who greets him happily. After he tells her that he doesn't know her and later accidentally yells at her, she curses him and wishes him to have a boyfriend . Fujimura replies that he is still a friend not even ( girlfriend did) what Subaru to spoil receives and thus is his third candidate as a friend.

Finally, there is a competition to determine which of the three should become his girlfriend. Since Fujimura does not intend to have a girlfriend and the whole thing is too stupid for Akira as a referee, she decides without further ado that from now on all three are his friends, which they also accept.

The series ends with all three Fujimura finally getting married a few years later after Akira introduced polygamy as Prime Minister under the pretext of combating the decline in the birth rate .

Characters

Fujimura ( 藤 村 )

Fujimura, first name unknown - but his sister calls him Haru ( ハ ル ) for short - was a truancy and involuntary delinquent. After being forced to go to school by Eri, he suffers from being the only one with a common sense in his new circle, constantly exasperated.

Eriko "Eri" Usami ( 宇佐美 え り こ , Usami Eriko )

Eri is the class representative for 2A and loves Fujimura and soybeans. She is a petite, somewhat mysterious and calm girl who shows little emotion. She regularly drives Fujimura insane with her habit of interpreting or phrasing situations and words that concern him in a sexual way whenever possible, with frequent nosebleeds in the process.

Shizuru Urabe ( 占 部 し づ る , Urabe Shizuru )

Shizuru from 3B is the Chair of the Student Council. At first glance she seems determined, but in fact she is rather simple-minded, tends to jump to hasty and wrong conclusions and is constantly lost. Fujimura wonders how she even managed to survive in the world. The latter is probably due to Akira, who is constantly helping Shizuru and z. B. has also sewn a tracking device into her clothes so that she can always be found again. Akira also performs her duties as student council chairperson.

Akira Himuro ( 氷 室 昌 良 , Himuro Akira )

Akira is the vice-chairwoman of the student council, aged 14 and going into 3B (which is 12th grade), although there is no class skipping in Japan. She has installed trap doors all over the school and also in the city, which she always triggers to make someone disappear who is annoying her. Which, since she doesn't know how to joke, often happens. Otherwise she is described as a rather gloomy and terrifying person, which is also shown by the fact that her teenage room is full of torture tools and traps that she always has to defuse before going to bed. On the one hand, she is regularly annoyed by Shizuru, who then falls victim to the trap doors, on the other hand, she also constantly helps Shizuru with her problems.

Subaru Yumizuka ( 弓 塚 す ば る , Yumizuka Subaru )

Subaru is the school idol and describes Fujimura to his displeasure as "big brother" (Onii-chan). She used to be a delinquent whose gang was beaten up by Fujimura and who then casually asked her why she was one when she was actually a pretty girl. This is why she calls him “big brother”, as this is a salutation (here actually respectful aniki instead of the familiar onii-chan ) for a member of ( yakuza ) gangs who is above himself .

Claudia Chiiko Inui ( 乾 ・ ク ロ ー デ ィ ア ・ 千 位子 , Inui Kurōdia Chiiko )

Claudia is a half-Japanese blonde and class representative for Fujimura's 2F. At first she used a strange Japanese with a style of expression based on the akasaka dialect, but which sometimes doesn't seem to make sense. She can usually be found together with “Helmet”.

"Helmet" ( ヘ ル メ ッ ト , Herumetto )

He is the second class representative for Fujimura's 2F. His name is unknown, but since he wears a samurai helmet all the time, Fujimura calls it a "helmet". In the only scene in which he took off his helmet, his head is pixelated under censor mosaics. When he patrols the city, he sits in full armor on a horse statue. He can usually be found with Claudia.

Chikage ( 千 影 )

Chikage is a young girl who is in love with Eri and she stalks. Accordingly, she sees Fujimura as her rival.

Aki Fujimura ( 藤 村 亜 貴 , Fujimura Aki )

Aki is Fujimura's older sister. Once she has got something on her mind, she doesn't move away no matter what. She also abhorred inappropriate relationships. In her school days she was also a delinquent and the founder of the gang whose leader Subaru later became.

In December 2008, the manga was one of seven in the Yomikiri Comic Carnival - Fuyu no Jin ( 読 切 コ ミ ッ ク カ ー ニ バ ル 〜 冬 の 陣 〜 ) competition. Since the manga was voted first by the readers there, Seiichi Shiki received the right to serialization. The manga was published bi-weekly from March 26, 2009 to July 25, 2013 in Square Enix 's web manga magazine Gangan Online . A one-shot ( yomikiri ) was previously published as a guest article in the paper manga magazine Gangan Wing in issue 4/2009 of February 26, 2009, in which Shiki's previous series Aoiro Kazoku was published.
