Fulmar

The Fulmar was a two-stage British sounding rocket . The Fulmar developed by Bristol Aerojet consisted of a Heron launch stage with 107 kN thrust and a Snipe upper stage with 16.7 kN thrust. The Fulmar had a diameter of 26 cm and a length of 7.47 m. It weighed 500 kg at the start and could reach a height of 250 km.

The Fulmar was launched six times between 1976 and 1979 by the Norwegian Andøya Rakettskytefelt , with the last launch on March 19, 1979 failing and only reaching an altitude of 15 km. It was never built in series.
